What: Downton fans can gather for a pre-premiere party.

Twelfth Night Tree Bonfire
What: The Eagle Valley Lions Club hosts this traditional Christmas tree bonfire party.

Details: Hot chocolate provided. Please bring your old Christmas tree to the south side of the Town Park at 6th and Wall streets before 6 p.m. on Jan. 6 .
River Bears of Alaska
What: The Eagle Valley Library District will hosted a presention by photrapher Tom Griffins titled “Photographice Journey to the river Vears of Alaska

Details: More than 100 brown bears fish at McNeil Falls, Alaska daily during the peak salmon spawn. Visitors from all over the world come to watch these large mammals in McNeil River State Park Game Sanctuary and Refuge. This 160,000-acre refuge of untouched cost lines and snow-capped volcanoes offers a rare opportunity to observe brown bears in their natural habitat preparing for the long winter ahead. Catch a glimpse of the world famous brown bears of McNeil River through the photograph lens of Tom Griffin, Manager of McNeil River State Park Game Sanctuary and Refuge in Alaska.
