Kidz Night Out: 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Western Eagle County Metropolitan Recreation District Field House at Edwards. For kids in kindergarten through fifth grades. Cost is $20 and includes pizza, drinks and supervision.
Saturday, Nov. 2
GCMS Winter Craft Fair: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Gypsum Creek Middle School. Crafts, baked goods and photos with Santa.
Wednesday, Nov. 6
Weight Watchers Weigh-in: 5:30 p.m. Slifer Smith and Frampton Real Estate Eagle Ranch office.

Tot’s Story and Skate: 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. Eagle Pool and Ice Rink. Skating theme events for tots in conjunction with the book read at local library story hours
Book Signing: 6 p.m. Eagle Public Library. Presentation and book signing by local author Kathy Heicher
Snow usually comes and goes in this part of the state. A forecasted storm is expected to stick around for a while. Forecasters are calling for snow to persist throughout the weekend in the high country, with a prospect of a couple of feet of powder by the time the storm starts to diminish on Monday.
