Weaving mind, body and spirit
February 10, 2016
Eagle, CO – Three Eagle self-care instructors have created a unique personal growth program for women of all ages that begins Feb. 28.
Weaving Mind, Body, and Spirit is an interactive, fun and practical journey for women at every stage and transition in life; for women who seek to deepen their potential power, strength and confidence with the support of others
At each of 10 monthly meetings, yogini Yvonne Schwartz, compassion instructor Mary Lou Keller and empowerment coach Susie Kincade will offer personal growth through integrating yoga, compassion, and empowerment practices. The material, principles, and skills presented are wide-ranging, non-religious, and cover topics from the Yogic Path to Finding Compassion, to having a Soul Date in Nature.
The three group facilitators are long-time community leaders and teachers. Yoga teacher and entrepreneur Yvonne Schwartz has owned Yoga Off Broadway for four years. Mary Lou Keller, attorney and child advocate, teaches Stanford University's Cultivating Compassion classes in the valley and in Denver. Susie Kincade, founded Women's Empowerment Workshop, and is a nature-based personal coach and adventure retreat facilitator.
"We're really excited to combine our strengths and offer this program to the community," said Kincade, a 36-year valley resident. "The activities we're presenting are going to stretch participants and enrich them in a really supportive, interactive atmosphere. Women often thrive in this kind of circle where they are heard and get to share wisdom and experience."
The facilitators have crafted a program that follows the arch of the year and brings this natural flow to each session. Group size is limited to 12 with the anticipation of building bonds, trust, and connection that help promote personal growth. The goal is to build mindfulness, compassion and yoga practices into every aspect of life, from the workplace to raising children and caring for self and others.
