What’s happening in Glenwood
The 117th Annual Strawberry Days Festival is June 20-22 all day and into the evening at Sayre Park (aka Strawberry Park).
Strawberry Days takes place the third full weekend in June, and the theme for the 2014 event is “95th Anniversary of the Glenwood Springs Chamber – Celebrating Business and Community.”
Strawberry Days has been entertaining generations for more than 100 years. The festival features a FamilyFest area with interactive, entertaining and creative experiences for the kids; an arts and crafts fair and food court; an old-fashioned carnival; a parade down Main Street (Grand Avenue) and a full entertainment line-up. As always, there will be free strawberries and ice cream on Saturday.
