On Thursday, July 10 beginning at 6 p.m., Colorado Mountain College in Glenwood Springs is offering a Culinary Workshop called 20-Minute Wonders.

This session is for those who are always in a rush to make dinner. Louie and Tammy Giardot will teach a few new quick and easy-to-make staples. Registration is required and the cost is $43.

Garden Tour

The Glenwood Springs Garden Club is hosting its 2014 Garden Tour on Saturday, July 12 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. rain or shine.

This is a self-guided tour of ten Glenwood Springs area gardens, chosen for their educational value, variety, beauty and creativity. Tickets are $10 in advance at http://www.eventbrite.com or $15 the day of the tour.



The tour starts at the Glenwood Springs Community Gardens at 100 Wulfson Road.

Free Tastings

From at 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, Cooper Wine & Spirits will host a free tasting.

The business hosts a different variety of hand-selected wines, craft beers and other Colorado spirits each week.

The event is free, and it takes place in Historic Downtown Glenwood Springs.

Magical Moments

The Magical Moments Summer Concert Series is planned Saturday, July 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Redstone Park. This week’s concert will feature Jay Roemer.
