Eagle Vision 20/20 session is Wednesday
EAGLE — The Eagle Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the second part of its bi-annual Eagle Vision 20/20 series today at 5:30 p.m. at the Eagle Town Hall. The informative agenda includes a community update on both current and upcoming events, projects and initiatives in Eagle from Mayor Yuri Kostick. Jill Klosterman from Eagle County will present an update on the Castle Peak Senior Care Center and its economic impact on the Eagle community. Plus, there will be brief updates from Eagle’s newly appointed town manager, Jon Stavney; Eagle’s chief of police, Rodger McLaughlin; and Eagle Chamber Board’s president, Jim Ash.
“Keeping the Eagle community and business community up to date and involved is an important part of what we do,” said Taylor Slaugh, administrator for the Eagle Chamber of Commerce. “Partnering with the town of Eagle and Mayor Kostick on this ongoing series allows for better synergy all around, from the residents, businesses, the town and our community leaders.”
Eagle Vision 20/20 events, set to take place twice a year, invite Eagle residents into the Town Hall for an hour to hour and a half presentation aimed to keep them informed, up to date and involved in their local community. The events are hosted by Kostick and include guest speakers relevant to topics or issues that affect Eagle. After the presentations, attendees are encouraged to join the Eagle Chamber and the presenters at a local restaurant for a less formal and more social gathering.
“I attended the Eagle Vision 20/20 event last February while I was still county commissioner and was thrilled to see so many members of the community in Town Hall,” said Jon Stavney, Eagle Town manager. “It shows the support and enthusiasm our residents have for Eagle. People are eager to hear and learn more about what Eagle’s future has in store.”
After tonight’s presentation, all attendees are invited to join the presenters for further discussion and mingling at the Dusty Boot in Eagle for free appetizers. One free drink coupon will be provided to those in attendance at the Town Hall.
