Early blood draw Saturday for the health fair

Residents who want to get a jump on their spring health routine can attend the 9Health Fair early blood draw from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Eagle Valley Middle School, located at 747 East Third Street in Eagle.

Unlike the regular 9Health fair, Saturday’s event will feature only blood draws. Participants can have blood drawn for a chemistry screening that costs $30, a blood count screening that costs $15, and a PSA screening (for men only) that costs $25. Additionally, take home colon cancer screening kits will be available for $20.

The 9Health Fair will come to Eagle on April 24 from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Eagle Valley Middle School. In addition to the blood draw, the fair will include: height/weight/body mass index screening, vision screening, pulse and blood pressure screening and colon cancer education. Additionally, information will be provided about first aid, body in balance, breast screening, eye health screening, finger stick glucose screening, foot screening, hearing screening, oral health screening, skin screening and stress management.
