Early voting begins in Vail Thursday

VAIL ” Early voting for this fall’s Vail Town Council election and building materials tax begins Thursday.
Voters can cast ballots from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Nov. 2 in the Vail Municipal Building, 75 S. Frontage Rd.
Mail-in ballot request forms can be downloaded from the town’s Web site, http://www.vailgov.com or can be picked up from the front desk of the Vail Municipal Building. Requests are due to the Town Clerk’s office by Nov. 2. The ballots must then be returned to the Town Clerk by 7 p.m., Nov. 6., which is Election Day.
All voting Nov. 6 will take place at the Municipal Building, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Five of seven Town Council seats are up for grabs in the election. Voters also will consider whether to tax building materials to raise money from road repairs and other infrastructure.
