Do you want to eat more organic foods, but don’t know where to start? Have you wanted to learn more about how an organic diet can benefit you and your family’s health? Local resident Mona Laru, a certified organic nutritionist, wellness counselor and exercise coach, will be at the Avon Public Library on Thursdayat 6:30p.m. to present a one-hour presentation on how to eat organically on a budget.

Laru will talk about how to eat mindfully and enjoy every meal and give tips on organic grocery shopping basics including examples from local grocery stores. She’lll also share three simple ways to feel and look better both inside and out and provide some practical, delicious recipes using organic ingredients.

“Eating healthy and exercising have always been my life’s passion,” she said. “I believe everybody should be given the opportunity to live a fulfilling life and be educated and understand the importance of energizing foods and exercising. Eating healthy and exercising daily not only makes you feel happy and look good, it can prevent serious diseases and illness.”
