Edwards campus to celebrate Earth Day

EDWARDS, Colorado – Colorado Mountain College in Edwards invites community members to celebrate Earth Day with events and a potluck on Thursday.
The Thursday events will begin with a campus cleanup from 9 a.m. to noon. Gloves and trash bags will be provided, and participants should meet in the lobby.
The community is also invited to a sustainable foods potluck and recipe exchange, from noon to 1 p.m. on campus.
Participants are asked to make a sustainable dish that is not a packaged food, provide a copy of the recipe to share and bring their own plate and utensils. Potluck participants will receive a free water bottle.
After lunch, everyone is invited to pitch in from 1 to 2 p.m. to help prepare the campus garden areas for the planting season.
