Edwards Chiropractor Sean Miller hosts a popular free health blog in which he writes on various health information and tips. Some of his recent posts have been “Your Diet Could Be Causing You Joint Pain,” “Is Taking a Mulit-Vitamin Healthy or Unhealthy?” and “My Favorite Hip Stretches.”

Miller began his post when he realized many patients were asking similar questions and figured if his patients were asking these questions, then other people were probably wondering about them too.

“I spend a lot of my time with patients, educating and answering questions; many times I have to give the short-ended version or the patient forgets what I said once they leave the office,” Miller said. “With my blog I can now post a more full explanation and the patient can go back and read it any time they want.”

Another added benefit of the blog is that if one patient asks a good question in the office, all Miller’s patients and other blog readers can learn from it.

“I love what I do so I spend a lot of time reading peer-reviewed research on topics ranging from various treatment methods for common problems and injuries, exercise, physical therapy and nutrition and many times I think to myself ‘wow I wish more people knew about this,” Miller said.
