Edwards roundabouts nearly open to traffic
Vail, CO Colorado
EDWARDS, Colorado – American Civil Constructors, the company building the roundabouts in Edwards, said in a Monday press release that the four roundabouts will be open to traffic, and the traffic signals removed “within the next few working days.”
As work continues, there will still be flagger-directed traffic control from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. as crews complete paving, curb and gutter work.
American Civil Constructors won’t be completely done with the project until late spring 2012, but the company expects to be out of the traffic area by Dec. 17, with crews off the site by Dec. 23. American Civil Constructors will return in January to complete any unfinished safety-related work at the site. Crews will return in the spring to complete the work within the Northstar Business Center and complete the aesthetic work.
