Edwards rummage sale raises money for class trip

EDWARDS, Colorado – June Creek Elementary School fourth-graders in Adam Markert and Tom van Cleave’s classes are planning to experience the Colorado National Monument through their annual camping trip in May.

To raise funds for the trip, students, staff and parents are holding a rummage sale on Saturday at 9 a.m. at June Creek Elementary School.

From toys and books to furniture and clothes, there will be something for everyone at the sale. Shoppers can peruse the goods while munching on tamales, burritos and baked goods, which will all be available for purchase. Attendees are also encouraged to buy a raffle ticket for a chance to win the “Giant Bernie the Bear” and his wagon full of toys. All proceeds will help support the fourth-grade field trip to the Colorado National Monument.

For more information about the rummage sale, contact Markert at adam.markert@eagleschools.net or 970-328-2980.
