Edwards: Woman, vehicle not involved in break-in

EDWARDS, Colorado – Investigators say a woman and car they linked Tuesday to suspected break-ins in Edwards, Colorado were not involved any of the incidents, Eagle County Sheriff’s Spokeswoman Shannon Cordingly said Wednesday in a press release.

Sheriff’s deputies are still looking for a suspect they believe entered at least one home in Miller Ranch through an open window. Investigators say the suspect cut through the screen of a window that was left cracked open.

The suspect was confronted by a resident in at least one home, the Sheriff’s Office says.

The suspect they are looking for is described as male and 5-foot-9 with a slender muscular build, dark hair, pierced ears, a narrow face and eyes that were close together, the Sheriff’s Office says.

The suspect was wearing a dark-colored baseball hat, the Sheriff’s Office says.
