EAGLE, Colorado ” Training for residents who want to help train teams that would respond to disasters such as major wildfires, terrorist attacks, snowstorms and other emergencies will be held in Eagle, Colorado next month.

The Community Emergency Response Team “Train the Trainer” program takes place from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on March 3, 4 and 5 at The Eagle County Road and Bridge, 3289 Cooley Mesa Road in Gypsum.

Typically, participants are members of emergency management, fire, police, and emergency and medical agencies, or are volunteers.

All attendees must sign an agreement agreeing to teach one course within the next 12 months. A records check will also be required.
