Employee parking passes available Monday in Vail

VAIL, Colorado – Employee parking passes for newly-designated spaces along Vail’s North Frontage Road will be on sale beginning Monday. The spaces, approximately 40 on the north side of the Main Vail roundabout and 100 spaces near the West Vail roundabout, are being added this season on a trial basis.

The green placard permit is good for seven-day-a-week parking for the remainder of the ski season, from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., for the available spaces near the Main Vail roundabout. The cost is $100 and is available to employees of Vail Village or Lionshead-based Vail business license holders who work a minimum of 20 hours per week.

The yellow placard is good Monday through Friday, from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., on both sides of the frontage road west of the West Vail roundabout as well as the former Wendy’s lot. The cost is $100 and is available to employees working a minimum of 20 hours per week anywhere in Vail.



To purchase a green or yellow placard, proof of employment is required. The spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis and a rearview hang tag must be displayed.

The parking sales office is open from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday on the lower level of the Vail Municipal Building, 75 S. Frontage Rd. The office will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. The placards are among nine season pass options available this season. Call 970-479-2104 for more information.
