Special to the Daily

Squash Blossom has been located in the heart of Vail Village for over 40 years, maintaining a reputation for unique collections of fine jewelry from all corners of the world.

For the first time, Squash Blossom is holding an end-of-season sale happening now through April.

From Gurhan’s 24-karat gold jewelry from Turkey to Penny Preville’s diamonds out of New York, there is a mix of fashionable jewelry available.

Feel like a celebrity with pieces by Irene Neuwirth, whose designs were seen recently being worn at the Academy Awards. Matt Cielo is an Italian artist with pieces at Squash Blossom, as does Todd Reed, who works with colored raw diamonds out of Boulder.

“We’ve always been known for our American Indian, antique American Indian,” John Cogswell said. “And ‘squash blossom’ is a word for a necklace that the American Indians used.”
