Energy Smart Resource Center to open Wednesday

EAGLE, Colorado – Eagle County will officially open its Energy Smart Colorado Resource Center today, marking the launch of the Energy Smart Colorado for Homes program. The center is located on the second floor of the Miller Ranch Community Center, located at 25 Mill Loft St. in Edwards. The public is invited to an open house between noon and 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Homeowners will be able to sign up for free energy assessments and low-cost improvements aimed at reducing energy bills, as well as learn about Energy Smart rebates, project financing and how to get free advice from trained energy professionals.-

Those who live or own property in Eagle County and pay utility bills will have access to the free services provided by the Energy Smart Resource Center from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
