Epic Pass holders get 5 days at Whistler this year
BROOMFIELD — Vail Resorts announced Wednesday that all 2016-17 Epic Pass and Epic Local Pass holders will receive five days at Whistler Blackcomb for this winter.
All 2016-17 Whistler Blackcomb Unlimited season pass holders will also receive five days at any of Vail Resorts’ U.S. mountain resorts this winter
Vail Resorts said Wednesday that the company has closed on the $1.1 billion acquisition of Whistler Blackcomb in British Columbia, Canada.
“We’re thrilled to officially welcome Whistler Blackcomb to our collection of world-class mountain resorts and to be able to offer our Epic Pass and Epic Local Pass holders five ski days at Whistler Blackcomb for this 2016-17 winter season,” said Kirsten Lynch, chief marketing officer of Vail Resorts.
The five days of skiing and snowboarding at Whistler Blackcomb with the Epic Pass and Epic Local Pass can take place any time during the 2016-17 winter season with the exception of the following restricted holiday dates: Nov. 25-26 and Dec. 26-31; and Jan. 14 and Feb. 18-19. The days do not have to be used consecutively.
The full season pass line-up with Whistler Blackcomb for 2017-18 will be announced when those passes go on sale in March.
