1. What does art mean to you?To express myself in color and spirit.2. When did you know you wanted to become an artist?Age 10 to 123. What inspires you to create? What sort of mood do you have to be in?

I am most creative when I see things I want to share with everybody. I want others to see what I see. I am at my best when I am able to forget everything around me, when I just see what I want to paint.4. Why did you choose the medium that you work with, or did it choose you?I had no choice After World War II a 76-year-old lady artist gave me some oils, brushes and canvas. These articles were very difficult to obtain in those days. I began to paint and the more I worked with oils the more I enjoyed this medium. I started to do pallet knife as well, which has become my favorite way to express myself.5. Describe your style?Realism.6. If you could meet any artist (alive or dead) who would it be? What would you want to talk about?

Michael Angelo. I would like to talk about painting hands, which in my opinion is very difficult and challenging.7. Where do you sell your art? Locally and internationally (I paint a lot of scene of the Alps).Name: Eric WindischMedium: Oil
