Erratic driving leads to arrest in Edwards
Edwards CO, Colorado
Edwards, Colorado ” As one deputy was heading eastbound on U.S. Highway 6, so was a drunk driver, as he nearly hit a deputy passing by who was heading west, the sheriff’s report said.
When the eastbound deputy slowed down to let the man ” who was driving a blue Chevrolet Tahoe ” pass, he noticed the driver was hugging the yellow center line for about 50 yards. Then, at the intersection of Highway 6 and Edwards Village Boulevard, the driver ” after stopping at a yellow light with no traffic ” made a wide right turn and was in the wrong lane. A car was coming head-on at the Tahoe, the sheriff’s report said, and that’s when the deputy pulled him over.

He was arrested and summonsed with DUI, failure to drive in a designated lane and compulsory insurance.
