FRISCO, Colorado – Bill Efting’s first day as Frisco’s new town manager is Monday.

Town council approved his contract at its meeting Tuesday, and announced that there would be an open house for staff and the public to meet and greet the new official at the next regular meeting, on Jan. 24.

Efting comes to Frisco from the north central Colorado town of Dacono, where he served as town manager. Previously, he was town manager in Basalt and Avon, assistant city manager and parks and leisure director in Aspen and parks and recreation coordinator in Meeker’s recreation district.

According to his contract, Efting will earn an annual base salary of $108,000 with raises as deemed appropriate by Town Council. Other benefits include a town vehicle, cell phone and $1,000 in moving expenses.

Efting has agreed to rent the town-owned property at 760 Pitkin St. for $1,750 monthly.
