GLENWOOD SPRINGS — Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park, which won Locals’ Choice Awards for Best Place to View a Sunset, Best Date Spot and Best Music Venue in 2015, recently launched this year’s Friday Afternoon Club on the Mountain.
Featuring live music and food and drink specials, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Fridays through Aug. 12, the park’s FAC also includes a free tram ride with a coupon that appears in the Post Independent on Fridays. The coupon is valid for free tram or bus rides for up to four people starting at 4 p.m.
Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park is located on top of Iron Mountain in Glenwood Springs. Visitors can take in panoramic views of the Colorado River and Roaring Fork Valley during the 10-minute tram ride and from the viewing decks and can also take advantage of the park’s rides and attractions during the FAC events.
A Funday Pass, $35 with the free tram ride, includes both walking cave tours and unlimited access to all of the park’s rides and most attractions. The outdoor rides are open until dusk; the Laser Tag arena and 4D Motion Theater are open until the park closes at 9 p.m.
More information about the park, including hours of operation and a list of which attractions are open, can be found at glenwoodcaverns.com or by calling 800-530-1635 or 970-945-4228, ext. 0.
