Fall Training for CASA of the Continental Divide volunteers on Sept. 29
Vail, CO Colorado
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of the Continental Divide will hold its fall volunteer training starting Sept. 29. As our economy has declined there has been an expected increase in the number of cases needing volunteers.
CASA volunteers advocate for children who are victims of abuse and neglect in the 5th Judicial District which includes Clear Creek, Eagle, Lake and Summit counties. They are appointed by the judge and speak on behalf of the child/ren involved in these cases.
Therefore, we are encouraging all who are interested in becoming an advocate for these children to call the CASA office in Dillon at (970) 513-9390. For more info about CASA, check out casa.colorado.net
If anyone is interested in being involved with CASA to help with special events, fundraising, public relations, etc. but not available to be a CASA volunteer, we welcome you to become a member of Friends of CASA and also call the CASA office at (970) 513-9390.
If you are unable to give of your time, consider donating financially for a very worthwhile cause. All donations are tax deductible and may be sent to CASA of the Continental Divide, PO Box 2092, Dillon, CO 80435 or donated by phone.
