FBI joins hunt for Denver swastika suspects

DENVER, Colorado – The FBI is helping Denver, Colorado police look for the people who covered an American flag with swastikas and epithets targeting blacks and President Obama then hoisted it upside down on a flagpole.
The incident happened Feb. 6 or Feb. 7 as Friday night turned to Saturday morning on the grounds of Thomas Jefferson High School, Denver police spokesman Sonny Jackson said.
“There were several swastikas and the words ‘white power’ among other symbols of hate written on the 8-foot-by- 5-foot flag, said Mary Dulacki, director of records management for Denver police.
Surveillance cameras did not capture an image of suspects.
