Final Hot Summer Nights concert set for Tuesday in Vail
VAIL CO, Colorado
VAIL – The final Hot Summer Nights free concert is set for tonight. One of the biggest names of the season is set to perform: Kyle Hollingsworth. Hollingsworth will take the stage tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater in Vail.
Known best for his contributions to The String Cheese Incident, Hollingsworth is a well-established musician known for his ability to write and perform in a mosaic of styles, from rock to classical, ragtime to bebop.
“In the jam world, where there are no set ways of doing things, we’re not afraid to move in and out of genres,” Hollingsworth said. “And because of that I’ve learned to be creative, not only onstage but in the studio. I can get on board with something pretty quickly. You have to.”
Tonight concert organizers are holding a contest to win two tickets to the upcoming Gov’t Mule show, set for Sept. 14 at the Ford Amphitheater. Find a stuffed mule hidden somewhere at the Amphitheater to win two tickets to the show.
The Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater is located east of Golden Peak at Ford Park in Vail.
