Final ShowDown Town concert in Eagle is Thursday
VAIL — The free ShowDown Town concert series in Eagle hosts one last show tonight at 6:30 p.m. with The Drunken Hearts.
The Drunken Hearts’ honest brand of alternative mountain music resonates with folks. The band infuses spirited vocals with guitar, upright bass, drums, fiddle and banjo. The band has played with Railroad Earth, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, Elephant Revival, Greensky Bluegrass, Head for the Hills and others.
Featuring Rob Eaton Jr. on electric guitar and vocals, Adam Galblum on fiddle and vocals, Ted Welles on drums and vocals, Cody Russell on pedal steel and banjo, Andrew McConathy on guitar and vocals and Derek Shields on bass, the Boulder-based group is a six-piece band playing music with a rock vibe imbued with country soul. The band recently added pedal steel player Cody Russell.

The Vail-based Gore Valley Citizens Alliance has announced it has filed for “judicial review” of the town’s decision regarding the Booth Heights workforce housing project. That request was filed in 5th Judicial District Court in Eagle.
