Final Street Beat concert tonight in Vail
VAIL CO, Colorado
VAIL – Raise your lighters to a head-banging night of arena rock with ’80s tribute band, The Champions, and the grand prize giveaway of the brand new Volvo C30. The final Bud Light Street Beat free concert of the season will take the stage at Checkpoint Charlie in Vail Village Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
The Champions will rock you back to the ’80s when bands like Def Leppard, Journey and Bon Jovi were at the top of the charts and stone-washed jeans, mullets and miniskirts were all the rage. Get ready for a night of power ballads, epic anthems and the good old rock ‘n’ roll that once filled stadiums around the world.
Concertgoers are encouraged to don their best ’80s hairband attire for the “Like, Totally ’80s Costume Contest.” The best-dressed will be called up on stage for a chance to win a pair of Maui Jim polarized sunglasses.
In addition, at the final Bud Light Street Beat free concert, residents of Eagle, Lake or Summit counties can register one last time to win the season-long grand prize, a Volvo C30. A group of finalists will be called up on stage and eligible to win the Volvo at this final show. All local contestants must have a valid driver’s license or local identification.
