Firefighters respond to garage fire in Arrowhead
EDWARDS — Firefighters were able to control a garage fire early Friday morning at an Arrowhead duplex.
Around 4 a.m., the Eagle River Fire Protection District was dispatched to a general fire alarm in Arrowhead. Upon arrival they found a fully involved fire confined to the garage of the structure. Additional fire units were dispatched immediately. The fire was mostly contained to the garage, although the main part of the home sustained some damage. No occupants were in the structure. The fire was quickly brought under control and is currently under investigation.
Other entities that responded included Vail Fire and Emergency Services, Eagle County Sheriff’s Office, Arrowhead Public Safety, Eagle County Paramedic Services, Vail Public Safety Communications Center, Chief 7 and Prevention 7.
