We’re fortunate to have a melange of athletic options to balance out the consumption of good food and drink. The Bon Appetit Culinary Festival in Beaver Creek a couple of weeks ago is the perfect example.

The Culinary Classic this year was a big hit. From a chef ski race to an Iron Chef-style cook-off, each night and day had something to offer the gourmand.

Next on the culinary calendar: The Taste of Vail in April. I can hardly wait!

Feb. 15: The Learning Palooza is tonight at the Vail Marriott Mountain Resort. For last minute tickets, call 476-0954.
