Ford spends two days at Vail hospital
VAIL ” Former President Gerald Ford was sent back to his Beaver Creek home at about noon Wednesday, after spending about two days at Vail Valley Medical Center.
Ford, 93, was hospitalized Monday after complaining of shortness of breath while at his home in Beaver Creek. He was examined, treated, and sent home Wednesday.
“That’s about all we can tell you about it,” said Scott Boie, spokesman for Vail Valley Medical Center.
A person who answered the phone at Ford’s Avon office said the former president is “doing very well. He’s at home.”
Ford spends most of his time at his home in California, but has been coming to the Vail Valley since the 1970s. A spokeswoman said he is spending the summer in Beaver Creek.
