It’s fall, and the golf courses are still green. That means it’s time for the Eagle Valley High School Booster Club’s 10th annual golf tournament on Sunday, Oct. 2, at Cotton Ranch in Gypsum. The event is dedicated to the memory of Skylar Hootman.Format is a four-man scramble. There’s a shotgun start, and less-than-confident players can buy mulligans in advance. The entry fee is $100 per person, plus $20 for a guest meal. The boosters are looking for sponsors to buy a round of golf for four, businesses to sponsor holes, gift donations and donations for the 150-item goodie bags given to all golfers. Cash donations are always welcome, and donations are tax deductible.Registration forms are available at the high school, and from Booster Club members. Make checks out to the EVHS Booster Club, P.O.
