Former physical therapist accused of records theft

VAIL — Vail Valley Medical Center plans to inform 3,118 patients that a former physical therapist copied and took personal health information about them.
The hospital announced last week that the therapist, employed there with Howard Head Sports Medicine, had “copied numerous physical therapy and occupational therapy records” onto two storage devices on two dates in December. Howard Head provides physical therapy for the hospital.
