Former Vail Realtor of the Year joins capital firm
VAIL Longtime Vail Valley real estate broker Oran Palmateer is joining Vail Capital Partners to lead broker relationships and competitive analysis for the firms projects.Vail Capital Partners focuses on resort second-home real estate investments.Palmateer will also assist in investor relations programs. Palmateer is a member of the RE/MAX Hall of Fame & Platinum Club who several professional real estate designations during his tenure there.This is an exciting opportunity for me in the sense that after all these years on the sales side I will now be able to involve myself in the analytic and investment process, helping to evaluate and analyze projects and their appeal to investors and buyers while theyre being conceived, Palmateer said.Palmateer was the founder and co-owner of REMAX Vail for the past 15 years. In his new position with VCP, Palmateer will evaluate brokers and their firms to determine the best fit for VCPs projects. He also is responsible for evaluating the soft variables of an investment opportunity: location, siting, curb appeal, amenities, brokers perceptions of the target property, and its history.Palmateer is active in the community and is currently a member of the Vail Board of Realtors. Architectural Engineering Consultants sponsored a booth at the Greenbuild Conference at Denver. The conference had participants from around the world. The U.S. Greenbuild Council has sponsored this conference for the past six years. The conference showcases products and services for sustainable construction and development, along with seminars and workshops about building to the standards of Leadership for Energy and Environmental Design, which is governed by the U.S. Green Building Council.Architectural Engineering Consultants is a local mechanical engineering consulting firm located in Eagle-Vail. They provide mechanical, electrical, plumbing and lighting design services to the local construction market. At the Greenbuild conference they showcased their design services and sustainable strategies.
