MINTURN ” Separate lawsuits filed by NASCAR drivers Joe Nemechek and Sterling Marlin and two crew chiefs against Ginn Racing have been dismissed, authorities said.

The four men lost their jobs when Ginn Racing merged with Dale Earnhardt Inc. The lawsuit contended Ginn Racing failed to pay their salaries, according to http://www.scenedaily.com, a NASCAR Web site.

The former employees reached a settlement, the conditions of which Ginn would not discuss in detail, Ginn Spokesman Ryan Julison said.

Julison said Ginn Racing is separate from Ginn Resorts, which wants to build a private ski resort and golf course and 1,700 homes and condominiums on and around Battle Mountain, south of Minturn.

“He’s paid the employees 100 percent of what they were owed, as he said he would,” Julison said about Ginn Chief Executive Officer Bobby Ginn.
