Four people hurt in Beaver Creek crash

BEAVER CREEK, Colorado ” Four people were injured in a car crash on Village Road in Beaver Creek, Colorado late Saturday.

Justin M. Cody, 32, of Avon was driving toward Avon on Village Road at about 11:50 p.m. when his 1998 Honda Civic continued straight on a curve, the State Patrol said. The car entered the oncoming lane of traffic, skid for 62 feet, went off the left side of the road for 79 feet and hit a tree, police said.

Cody and the three passengers in the car ” Lidia B. Patrick, 28, of Avon, Chance Humphrey, 24 of Eagle-Vail, and Joshua Cook, 30, of Avon, were injured and taken to the Vail Valley Medical Center.



Alcohol and excessive speed are being investigated as factors in the crash, the State Patrol said in a press release.
