Four pounds of pot seized in Eagle County, Sheriff says

EAGLE COUNTY, Colorado Four pounds of high quality marijuana worth more than $16,000 were found after investigators searched residences in Eagle County, the Eagle County Sheriffs Office says. Sheriffs deputies and Avon police arrested three people on felony drug charges after undercover officers bought marijuana from them, the Eagle County Sheriffs Office says. Stephen Ferrin, 32, of Edwards, was arrested on suspicion of distribution of marijuana, a class 4 felony, and possession of more than 8 ounces of marijuana, a class 5 felony. Bradley Reed, 22, of Eagle, was arrested on suspicion of distribution of marijuana, a class 4 felony, and possession of less than 8 ounces of marijuana, a class 1 misdemeanor. April Reed, 25, of Eagle, was arrested on suspicion of possession of less than 8 ounces of marijuana, a class 1 misdemeanor, and tampering with physical evidence, a class 6 felony. No phone numbers were listed for the suspects. The four pounds of marijuana was found in a search of the suspects residences, the Sheriffs Office says. The Eagle County Drug Task Force is investigating the source of supply for the marijuana and anticipates more arrests, the Sheriffs Office says. Ferrin and Bradley Reed were taken to the Eagle County Detention Facility with a $50,000 bond. April Reed was taken to the jail on a $2,000 bond.
