The fourth annual Pumpkin Fest starts at 10 a.m. Saturday and goes till 1:30 p.m. at 4 Eagle Ranch. Admission is $6 per person, which includes a pumpkin and fun for the whole family. The festivities include a haystack maze, pumpkin patch and wagon rides for $2.

The event is sponsored by 4 Eagle Ranch, The Vail Daily and KZYR The Zephyr.

Proceeds from Pumpkin Fest benefit Eagle River Youth Coalition. This family-centered event celebrates fall with more than 1,500 pumpkins available for kids and adults alike to pick out. New this year is a silent auction with five ceramic painted pumpkins, painted by local artists, with proceeds benefiting the Eagle River Youth Coalition.

Yummy fall treats will be served, including fall favorites like caramel apples, hot cider and pumpkin beer. The ranch will also serve up barbecue favorites and other seasonal delights.

“The fourth year of Pumpkin Fest is sure to be the best yet,” said Tony Mauro of KZYR. “We are bringing in more pumpkins this year. I love Pumpkin Fest because it’s much more fun to come out to the ranch and pick out your pumpkin than going to a grocery store. I’m also excited to see what our local artists have come up with on the ceramic pumpkins in the silent auction,”
