Fourth of July events in Eagle County

The Vail America Days parade winds its way from Vail Village to Lionshead Friday from 10 a.m. to noon.

Here’s what else is on tap for the holiday:



Friday

8 a.m. to noon: Vail Public Library bake sale, Vail

Participate in The Longevity Project

The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.



8:15 to 10 a.m.: July Fourth bike parade, Brush Creek Park in Eagle

10 a.m. to noon: Vail America Days parade, Vail Village to Lionshead

Noon to 9 p.m.: Fourth of July White Light Bash with free live music by Mile High 101 military band and Tommy and the Tangerines, Solaris Plaza in Vail



Noon: Stars, Stripes and Slides day with bounce castles and more, Beaver Creek

2 p.m.: Patriotic Bravo! Vail concert series with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Ford Amphitheater in Vail

6 to 9:30 p.m.: Free live music by Michaelis and Pat Green, Beaver Creek

Dusk: Fireworks show, Golden Peak

9:30 p.m.: Fireworks show, Beaver Creek

9:30 p.m.: Fireworks show, Eagle County Fairgrounds

Saturday

8 a.m.: La Sportiva Vail Hill Climb trail running race, Vail Village start line

3 p.m. Minturn Independence Day Celebration, includes parade and a celebration at Little Beach Park from 3:30 to 6 p.m. with live music by Hardscrabble bluegrass band, a bouncy castle, mechanical bull, balloon clown, watermelon eating contest
