Frampton will speak to Chamber & Tourism Bureau
VAIL – Local developer Harry Frampton will give a talk entitled “Best Practices in Resort Communities” at a seminar sponsored by the Vail Valley Chamber and Tourism Bureau from noon until 2 p.m., Feb. 4 at the Lodge at Vail.Frampton is currently managing Partner of East West Resorts and chairman of the Urban Land Institute. His experience in resort communities ranges from the development Beaver Creek, Bachelor Gulch, Deer Valley, Utah, and north Lake Tahoe, California. Frampton’s presentation will focus on that experience. He will outline his suggestions on the key factors to maintain the Vail Valley’s reputation as a “leader among resorts,” the Chamber and Tourism Bureau says. Tickets, starting at $30, are now available, starting at $30. Five dollars of every ticket sold will be donated to the local Super Bowl of Caring tsunami relief effort.
