Fraudulent fundraiser tries to trick Gypsum business
Gypsum, CO Colorado
GYPSUM, Colorado –A Gypsum business has received a prank call from a person claiming to be a representative of the “Gypsum Police Department,” which does not exist, the town says.

Citizens and business owners are cautioned to validate alleged “fundraisers” and “events” before making any kind of donation. Should you receive a fraudulent solicitation, please report the incident by calling dispatch at the Eagle County Sheriff’s Department, 970-479-2201.
