EDWARDS — Conscious Transformation Groups are a free monthly gathering designed to help people connect with like-minded individuals, focused on their personal and professional fulfillment. Each meeting consists of a Conscious Transformation teaching, tool or meditation and an opportunity to create a simple, practical plan for daily life. This supportive environment is a space for people to connect, reflect and transform.
On Monday at 7:15 p.m., the Conscious Transformation Group will be held at Align Vail located at 210 Edwards Village Boulevard, B202 in Edwards. This gathering will be taught by Joey Klein, the founder of Conscious Transformation. Klein is an internationally-known personal development expert, martial arts champion and author of the book “The Inner Matrix: A Guide to Transforming Your Life and Awakening Your Spirit.” He travels the world teaching his technique of Conscious Transformation to support people in living healthy, happy, fulfilling lives. With the success of his book and programs throughout the country, Klein will be traveling most of 2015, so it is quite a benefit to start the year with him personally leading this free class locally, according to local Conscious Transformation teacher Mandy Benedict.
A downvalley event will be held on Jan. 13 at 7:15 p.m. at the Shakti Center located at 200 Capital Street in Eagle. This event will be led by Benedict. After years of personal development, focused meditation and a formal, extensive training program led by Klein, Benedict leads classes regularly throughout the Vail Valley including the “Mental Mastery Program” starting in mid-January. Having grown up in the valley, Benedict has a deep passion for supporting people in our community with the tools provided by this work. She also manages her family’s business, Ruggs Benedict, where she helps the business thrive by creating a strong network of relationships.
The Mental Mastery Program, led by Benedict, is a six-part series that includes teachings, meditations and a daily action plan. Classes are offered in Edwards on Wednesdays from Jan. 14-March 18 at either noon or 6:30 p.m. and also offered in Eagle on Tuesday evenings from Jan. 13-March 17 at 6 p.m. The cost of this course is $298 and includes a six-CD set or downloadable recordings.
“The mind is a powerful tool that can be our greatest adversary or our greatest ally in life,” Benedict said. “With proper guidance, training and practice, we have the power to direct the mind to create an extraordinary life. Participants in the Mental Mastery Program have reported reduced stress, increased focus, improved sleep, more energy throughout the day and a greater sense of peace and purpose.”

ABOUT CONSCIOUS TRANSFORMATION
Conscious Transformation involves the purposeful examination and shifting of the subconscious workings of the innermost self — the essence of our mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual patterns — which Klein calls, “the inner matrix.” Conscious Transformation is an internal development system that allows people to get inside of those fundamental internal patterns, creating the lens through which we experience our lives. Once an awareness of these foundational patterns is developed, we can begin to make profound shifts on a deep level using the tools Klein provides to produce permanent change that aligns us with the vision we choose for our lives.
