Free film screenings at Avon Library in January

Special to the Daily"The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest" will show Jan. 29 at the Avon Library.

Fans of Stieg Larsson’s Millennium Trilogy are invited to the Avon Public Library to see all three of the Swedish blockbusters on Saturdays during the month of January, beginning with “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” at 1 p.m. this Saturday. Being shown consecutively, the special screenings will give filmgoers one more opportunity to see the foreign-language flicks on the big screen.

Whether you have been an avid reader of the books or are a first-timer hoping to find out what all the fuss has been about, discover how Lisbeth Salander and Mikael Blomkvist work together in this smart Scandinavian thriller.
