Vail, CO Colorado
VAIL VALLEY, Colorado – The Red Ribbon Project of Eagle County will be hosting Free HIV Testing on June 26 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Vail Interfaith Chapel in Vail and June 27, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Eagle Care Clinic in Edwards.
No appointment is necessary. Walk-ins are welcomed and oral or finger prick results will be available within 10 to 20 minutes.
The Red Ribbon Project says Despite new therapies, people with HIV still develop AIDS and more than 14,000 people with AIDS still die each year in the United States. Early testing is important so people with HIV can get treatment and avoid transmitting the disease, the organization says.
