Free music in Avon Saturday
VAIL CO, Colorado
Front Range musicians Chris Webb and Dave Tamkin will perform at Loaded Joe’s Saturday. Webb and Tamkin have shared the Loaded Joe’s stage in the past, where they’ve also performed on Vail’s PlumTV. Expect an energetic set from the acoustic duo once more at Loaded Joe’s in Avon tonight at 9 p.m. This show is free.
Webb lives in Denver and performs often in the Metro area. A graduate of CU-Boulder’s School of Music, Webb’s musical accomplishments include sharing marquees with Sister Hazel, Leftover Salmon, The Big Wu and The Samples. He and his band have received airtime on Denver’s 99.5 The Mountain, performed on 97.3 KBCO Studio Sessions and has appeared on 9 News Denver’s Music Showcase. Dubbing himself “Colorado Roots Rock,” Webb fuses rhythms and styles from folk, rock, latin and funk to weave an intricate tapestry of sound without abandoning his pop sensibility.
Chicago singer/songwriter Dave Tamkin currently lives in Boulder. He has created his own unique style of rhythmic-acoustic rock. His shows vary from intimate solo acoustic performances to a full band experience encapsulating a mixture of personal lyrics and skilled songwriting set against a high-energy percussive backbone. Tamkin has shared the stage with Guster, The Samples, Rusted Root, Michael Galbicki, Butch Walker, Matt Wertz, Eric Hutchinson, Stroke 9, The Violent Femmes, Fountains of Wayne, and more.
