Free parenting seminar in Vail Valley Saturday

AVON, Colorado – New Life Assembly of God church in Avon is hosting a free parenting seminar Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The guest presenter is Dr. Linda Williams, from Gunnison, a parental consultant, behavioral interventionist, academic and presenter.

Williams emphasizes the positive aspects of being a parent and presents workshops and classes for parents and teachers on topics such as keeping kids off drugs, trust and responsibility, discipline techniques and handling anger and self-esteem.
