Free recycling bins offered in Vail

VAIL, Colorado – Residential customers of Vail Honeywagon and Waste Management are invited to stop by the town of Vail Recycling Center Friday, April 8 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to receive free recycling bins courtesy of their trash hauler and learn how to take part in the haulers’ existing curbside recycling services. Curbside recycling is offered to residential customers in Vail as part of their monthly trash collection service.-

The “Get Your Bin Day” event at the Recycling Center, located just west of the Town of Vail Municipal Offices at 75 S. Frontage Road, will also include distribution of free recycling kits for batteries and compact fluorescent light bulbs.

The Recycling Center is a collection point for aluminum, tin, glass, No. 1 and No. 2 plastics, newspaper, magazines, office paper, phone books, corrugated cardboard and skis/snowboards
