July 20, 2010
EAGLE-VAIL – T.U.G.G., one of the top roots and reggae bands in the Midwest will be making their only Western slope appearance – and one of only two in the state – at Paddy’s Pub and Eatery Wednesday night at 8 p.m.Hailing from the unlikely reggae hotbed of Lacrosse, Wisc., T.U.G.G. produces original reggae and ska music. With a style that has been honed and perfected while sharing the stage with the likes of Karl Denson, Rusted Root and Slightly Stoopid, T.U.G.G. is dedicated to remaining true to the spirit and soul of good vibrations music while adding their own breezy melody to the reggae core within their compositions. It’s this fluid line that makes their music so fun and dance-worthy.This show is just one stop on a multi-state summer tour being undertaken throughout the Midwest, Rockies and southwest to promote their new album, “Come Sunrise.” It is also part of Paddy’s Live in the Pub music series, which has been presenting music throughout the summer with no cover charge. In addition to the free music, Paddy’s will offer drink deals and a special late night bar menu. Plus, special arrangements have also been made for the Turtle Bus to provide transportation to and from this special mid-week show. For schedule information you can call the Turtle Bus at 970-471-0547.Paddy’s Sports Bar & Grill is located on Highway 6 in Eagle-Vail.
