VAIL — Free community yoga in Vail Village returns this summer starting on Saturday. Classes are offered from 9 to 10 a.m. every Saturday from June 13 through Sept. 19 on the Solaris lawn, rain or shine.

“It has been an immense pleasure to watch this event grow from a tiny seed of 30 yogis practicing together in the sun four years ago, to an event that locals and visitors look forward to all summer long and flock to every week” said Julia Clarke, yoga director for the Vail Vitality Center. “Summertime Community Yoga is the Vail Vitality Center’s gift to Vail each summer and it provides a supportive and welcoming space for any individual to meet like minded people, breath the fresh mountain air and explore mindfulness and well being. We are committed to cultivating community and health through the practice of yoga.”

The sessions are taught by rotating Vail Vitality Center yoga teachers, and each brings their unique personality and style to class.

Participants should bring their own mat or towel, water and sunscreen. Children are also welcome. For information, visit or call 970-476-7960.
