This year, Park Hyatt Beaver Creek will unveil a new art wall designed and created by Eagle County school children at 5 p.m. Friday. The Park Hyatt Beaver Creek provided one panel to nine schools. Each school’s designated grade painted the panel to depict their version of what they envision Fridays at the Park to be. Schools that participated included: Avon Elementary, Brush Creek Elementary, Edwards Elementary, Eagle Valley Elementary, Meadow Mountain Elementary, Red Hill Elementary, Eagle Montessori, Stone Creek and Red Sandstone Elementary. The boards will be displayed as a collage in front of the new gondola that will be installed, as well as a backdrop to the Fridays at the Park events going on throughout the summer.
As an added bonus for local families, the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek is offering a $99 room rate for Friday nights during FAP for locals. This rate includes valet parking and the resort fee; Allegria Spa is also offering 25 percent off spa services for FAP lodging package participants.
Live grilling demonstrations go beyond barbeque with chorizo and shrimp, veal scaloppini and apple tart. Families can enjoy grill fare such as chicken, Portobello mushrooms, burgers and hotdogs. Bivans Restaurant is also offering a prefixed menu, priced at $32 per adult, every Friday during the Fridays at the Park for those wanting a sit-down meal.
Entertainment includes performances by Brendan McKinney, Will Roberts and Chuck Grossman. KZYR, The Zephyr, will also be on hand every Friday night hosting a live broadcast with select themed giveaways nights, great music and more.
